SNAIL TRAILS SOCIAL RIDES - brisbane & SE QLD, queensland, australia

We are not an official organisation - just a wide group of riders who enjoy easy informal social rides. Our rides cover dirt riding, adventure riding, trials and cross training.

Rides range from forests, beaches, country farm roads to winding bitumen highways. Sometimes we have a ‘skills’ day where experienced riders can provide tips to newer riders. Often the more experienced riders go for a faster or more difficult ride. Some riders are into trials, as we also have lady riders - a few can outride the guys too! Click here to see how the rides work.

Adventure rides get organised on the ADV Rider forum, click here to see if anyone has suggested a ride. Or suggest one yourself.

Dirt rides happen on the Dirt Bike World forum and were organised here in 2013. An injury has slowed things down but a new thread should be up shortly. Cross training rides start soon!

Trials riding is happening within the Western Districts Trials Club, here is the website.

There is no central organiser or organisation to Snail Trails, it's just a social group where various people will suggest a ride and everyone has a great time with plenty of rest stops, laughter and lively conversation.

All Snail Trail rides are free, strictly informal, non-professional events with no central organiser or anyone taking responsibility for the safety of others. Having said that, we all look out for each other and will immediately talk with anyone who rides in a way that endangers someone else!

You must acknowledge that motorbike riding is an inherently dangerous activity, and you go on any social ride at your own risk. You must read and agree to this disclaimer before coming on any Snail Trail ride. Download this handy introductory guide to adventure riding here.
