Snail Trails is not an official organisation, but just a wide group of riders who get together for easy informal social rides. Our bikes range from CT110 posties through to the ships of the dirt like the BMW GS and KTM 990.
Rides range from forests, beaches, country farm roads to winding bitumen highways. A few times a year someon with suggest a ‘skills’ day where experienced riders can provide tips to newer riders. Other times the more experienced riders will suggest a faster or more difficult ride. We also have lady riders, and our ages range from 18 to 80! Click here to get an idea of how it usually works.

There is no central organiser or organisation to Snail Trails, it's just a social group where various people will suggest a ride and everyone has a great time with plenty of rest stops, laughter and lively conversation.
All Snail Trail rides are free, strictly informal, non-professional events with no central organiser or anyone taking responsibility for the safety of others. Having said that, we all look out for each other and will immediately talk with anyone who rides in a way that endangers someone else!
